Bank Lobby Reopening Plans

As businesses throughout Oregon work through Phase I of the reopening plan presented by Governor Kate Brown, Oregon Pacific Bank has set a date of June 1, 2020 to reopen our lobbies again to clients.

Our open branches will look different than they did prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, and we ask for your patience and understanding as we transition to the new normal together.

Digital Banking Alternatives

For your continued safety and convenience, we encourage all our clients to use alternative banking methods whenever possible, and only visit our lobby in person when absolutely necessary. With modern day technology, we are happy to be able to provide the same level of community banking service you expect, through a variety of channels, including:

  • Online and Mobile Banking
  • Mobile Deposits and Remote Deposit Capture for businesses
  • Branch Drive Through
  • Deposit Taking ATMs
  • Local Call Center
  • Night Depository
  • Phone Call or Video Conference with your local banker
  • Telephone Banking
  • MoneyPass ® ATMs for cash withdrawals nationwide: www.moneypass.com/atm-locator

If you must visit our lobbies in person, we will be following guidance set forth by the Oregon Health Authority (OHA).

Maximum Occupancy and Accessibility

Each of our Branches have undergone a thorough review of best practices to ensure the safest lobby opening procedures for both staff and clients. We have determined a maximum occupancy for clients allowed inside our branch lobbies at one time. Please see below for information that pertains to your local branch.

Florence  Max Client Occupancy 10  For our Florence Branch, the front door to our lobby will remain open during regular business hours, with an employee greeter at the entrance to ensure maximum client occupancy standards are maintained.
Eugene  Max Client Occupancy 10  For our Eugene Branch, our West entrance door will remain open during regular business hours, with an employee greeter at the entrance to ensure maximum client occupancy standards are maintained.
Coos Bay  Max Client Occupancy 9  For our Coos Bay Branch, our front door will remain locked during regular business hours. Visitors will be asked to ring a doorbell and will then be greeted by an employee who will ensure maximum client occupancy standards are maintained.
Roseburg  Max Client Occupancy 8  For our Roseburg Branch, our front door will remain locked during regular business hours. Visitors will be asked to ring a doorbell and will then be greeted by an employee who will ensure maximum client occupancy standards are maintained.
Medford  Max Client Occupancy 8  For our Medford Branch, our front door will remain locked during regular business hours. Visitors will be greeted by an employee who will ensure maximum client occupancy standards are maintained.

Social Distancing

Oregon Pacific Bank employees will be adhering to social distancing guidelines by maintaining a six-foot distance, and we ask our visitors to do the same. We’ve placed social distancing discs on the floors in our lobbies to indicate proper six-foot spacing requirements.

In addition, we have also installed transparent barriers at each of our teller windows and employee desks for the protection of both our employees and clients.

Masks and Facial Coverings

Masks or facial coverings for clients visiting our branches is not required but recommended. If you do decide to wear a mask or facial covering, please be aware that you will be asked to briefly pull down your mask upon entering the Bank so that we may properly identify you.

We are requiring our front-line employees who work directly with clients to wear facial coverings such as masks or face shields at all times.

Sanitation

Periodic janitorial service at each branch will focus on cleaning desks and sanitizing common areas, which will be supplemented by daily cleaning and sanitizing of frequently touched surfaces. All areas determined to be “high touch” will be regularly disinfected by assigned employees throughout the day, including desks, doorknobs, light switches, and any other areas that experience frequent contact.

Exterior door handles will be sanitized after each client entry and exit from our branches. Teller stations, desks, signing stations, and signature pads and pens will be disinfected by Bank staff after each client use.

Hand sanitizer will be available in our lobbies for use by clients, and we encourage visitors to sanitize your hands before and after your visit with us.

All Bank staff will follow proper hand washing for infection control. Our employees are required to stay home if they are sick or feverish and advised to seek medical care if symptoms persist.  We would also ask any clients who are ill to use alternative forms of banking rather than visiting the branch.

In the interest of public health, we are also no longer able to offer magazines or reading materials in our waiting area. In addition, we will not be offering cookies or refreshments to our visitors for the time being.

No Public Restrooms

All restrooms are restricted to employees only, with no public restrooms available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and hope you understand that this decision was made in the best interest of both our clients and our employees.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding as we transition our operations in order to protect the health and safety of our community members.
