Exciting Changes for Trust Services
Oregon Pacific Bank is committed to offering compassionate, relationship-based trust services in all communities where we are located. To that end, we are excited to announce the following promotions.
Beth Knorr has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Director of Trust Services. In this role, Beth will assume leadership of Oregon Pacific Bank’s Trust Services for Coos Bay, Florence, Eugene, Medford, and Roseburg markets. Jay Boelter, former Director of Trust Services since 2014, will be stepping into the role of Advisor to the Trust Director, and will support Beth in her new position until Jay’s retirement in 2021.
“We couldn’t be placing the future of Trust Services in better hands,” says Jay Boelter. “I have worked with Beth throughout my time here at Oregon Pacific Bank, and it has been my pleasure to watch her grow as a leader. Beth is a person that truly cares for the well-being of her team, and she will ensure we continue to do everything we can to care for our clients.”
Beth Knorr’s promotion to Director of Trust Services isn’t the only positive change happening in Trust Services. In the Coos Bay market, Lisa Amaral has been promoted to Senior Trust Officer in recognition of her success and contributions to Oregon Pacific Bank. Lisa has been with the Bank since 2006 and has provided many years of invaluable service to our trust clients along the south coast.
In Medford, Oregon Pacific Bank is proud to acknowledge Nina Fillis’ commitment to earning her Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation, after studying at the Cannon Financial Institute from 2017 to 2020. The CTFA designation will allow Nina to perform complex trust administration responsibilities, and in recognition, the Bank has promoted Nina Fillis to Trust Administrator.
In Florence, Dea Ann Frazier has been promoted to Assistant Trust Administrator. She has been with the trust department for 5 years and is responsible for the administration of Florence’s trust accounts. Dea Ann is pursuing her Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor designation and will complete her final class in 2021.
In Eugene, Oregon Pacific Bank has expanded the Trust Services team by hiring Tami Calkin as Vice President and Trust Officer to service the Eugene and Springfield area markets. Tami has a master’s degree in education from Pacific University, and extensive experience with charitable gifting management. Prior to coming to Oregon Pacific Bank, Tami worked with donors and development officers to facilitate and manage non-cash gifts for the University of Oregon Foundation.
“We are proud to be one of the few community banks in Oregon that offer trust services to our community members,” says Ron Green, President and CEO of Oregon Pacific Bank. “When you establish a Trust account with Oregon Pacific Bank, you and your family will work with the same team of local Trust Officers for the lifetime of your account with us. That is what makes our local professionals so important, and we couldn’t be happier to see our Trust Services department continue to grow. We offer our congratulations to these team members!”
