Chief Executive Officer since 2013, Chief Credit Officer 2007-2013

Ron was hired in July 2007 as Executive Vice President & Chief Credit Officer for the Bank, and was appointed as President and CEO in August 2013. Ron serves as chair of the Peace Harbor Medical Center Community Board of Directors, as Board President of the Siuslaw Valley Fire and Rescue, on the Lane Community College Advisory Board, is active with the Rotary Club of Florence, and is a strong supporter of the Boys and Girls Club of Western Lane County. Ron is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington and has been in banking since 1989.

Chief Financial Officer since 2001, Controller 1999-2001

Joanne has had an extensive career in finance, having been a Certified Public Accountant for 20 years prior to starting at Oregon Pacific Bank in 1999 as the Bank’s Controller. Joanne is also heavily involved in the Florence community serving as a member of the governing board of PeaceHealth Siuslaw Region and an active member of the philanthropic organization Delta Gamma.

Amber joined Oregon Pacific Bank in 2017 after seven years of experience at Pacific Continental Bank where she previously worked as Vice President and Controller, overseeing the company’s financial and regulatory reporting. Amber also has experience as the Controller for Citizens Bank in Corvallis and as Staff Accountant for the Eugene office of Moss Adams, LLP, where she earned her CPA license in 2008. She is a graduate of Oregon State University and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration.

Bob has spent the last 25 years of his professional life working with a number of community banks, primarily in the role of senior lender and chief credit officer, before being hired as Chief Credit Officer for Oregon Pacific Bank in April 2014. Bob grew up in Pine Island, Minnesota and earned a degree in Forestry from the University of Washington in Seattle. He spent a number of years working for the Bureau of Land Management, the US Forest Service, and the Washington State Parks & Recreation Commission before moving back to Minnesota to work for his family’s manufacturing business. He received his MBA degree from the University of St. Thomas and then transitioned into what would become a career in the banking industry.

Director of Trust and Wealth Management Services since 2014

Jay grew up in Montana and obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. Jay received his law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law and his LL.M. in taxation from the University of Denver Tax Program. He is currently a member of the Oregon State Bar, the Washington State Bar, and the United States Tax Court. He is also a member of the Estate Planning and Administration Section of the Oregon State Bar and has served as a Section Planner.

Director of Human Resources since 2001, Human Resources Coordinator 1999-2001

Mary joined Oregon Pacific Bank in 1999 and was promoted to Director of Human Resources in 2001. Mary served as chairperson of the Oregon Bankers Association Human Resources Committee from 2011 – 2013. Prior to moving to Florence in 1993, Mary was a medical practice manager in the San Francisco Bay Area where her responsibilities included hiring, training, and supervision of staff, payroll, employee health benefits, and oversight of the profit sharing plan. Mary was co-owner of an eco-tourism aviation business in Florence from 1993 – 2000. Previously, she has served the community on the Western Lane Community Foundation Board, the Florence Rotary Board, and the Florence Chamber Board for two terms.

Cindy Spinner
Senior Vice President, Controller and Operations Support Manager

Controller and Operations Support Manager since 2014, VP, Controller 2009 – 2014

Cindy Spinner was hired in June 1993 as a part-time teller for the Bank in Florence, Oregon. She was promoted as Vice President and Controller in December 2009. Her role advanced in May 2014 as Cindy was appointed Manager of Operations Support. Cindy was promoted to Senior Vice President, Controller and Manager, Operations Support in February 2016. She serves as a member of the budget committee for the Siuslaw School District since 2009. Cindy was on the Board for Siuslaw Valley Fire and Rescue between 2011 and 2015. Cindy earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from University of Phoenix in November 2010 and is a 2015 graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.
