08/03/2017: Maree Beers Joins Oregon Pacific Bank’s Residential Lending Team

Oregon Pacific Bank is pleased to announce that local Florence resident Maree Beers has joined Oregon Pacific Bank as a Residential Loan Officer.

With a background in music, Maree majored in Vocal Performance with a Jazz concentration, and Music Education at George Fox University. After starting a family, Maree went back to work full-time in the banking industry. She discovered a love for business banking and retail lending, and has been in the financial industry for nearly six years. With experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer and Processor and Assistant Branch Manager, Maree finds her passion remains in lending, especially in helping people to buy and build homes.

After moving from McMinnville to Florence ten years ago, Maree has been closely involved with the local arts, especially as it pertains to youth. Maree is currently the Musical Director of C.R.O.W. (Children’s Repertory of Oregon Workshops) where she directs the music for the main stage musical each April, as well as the song and dance camps in the summer. In addition to inspiring children to enjoy the arts, Maree is active in local programs, participating in various musical theater performances throughout the year and adding her vocal talents to the “The Miles to Go Quintet” jazz group.

“Maree is going to be a great asset to Oregon Pacific Bank and we are thrilled to welcome her to our residential lending team!” says Kim Erickson, VP and Manager of Residential Lending. “We feel that Maree’s strong background in customer service and existing knowledge of retail mortgage lending, as well as her commitment to the Florence community, will allow her to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact within our department. Maree will be filling the recent vacancy of Mimi Teachout, who has recently moved from Florence to California. Our team already misses Mimi and truly appreciates the time and energy she gave us.”

Maree will be at Oregon Pacific Bank starting Monday, August 7th. The local Florence community is more than welcome to come visit with Maree at any time.
