Oregon Pacific Bank Expands Medford Banking Team

Oregon Pacific Bank is thrilled to announce the addition of Tom Skinner and Dawn Hartley to our Medford commercial lending team.

Tom Skinner joins Oregon Pacific Bank as Senior Vice President and Commercial Team Leader. Originally from Grants Pass, Oregon, Tom graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s in Management Studies. Tom spent 11 years in the manufacturing industry as a manager before shifting into financial services. With experience as a branch manager, credit analyst, relationship manager, and portfolio manager, Tom has 15 years of varied banking expertise to draw from.

“I love the small, home-town feel of Oregon Pacific Bank,” says Tom when asked about his new position. “I am looking forward to having the ability to work with my clients face-to-face, with a hands on approach to build long-lasting relationships.”

Tom stays active in the local community. He sat as the Vice Chair on the Directors Community Health Foundation at Providence Health & Services from January 2016 to August 2019. Prior to that, Tom was on the Board of Directors for the Red Cross. He has been an active participant in the SMART reading program since 2005. Outside of work and volunteering, Tom enjoy spending time with his wife and family, and his many rescue animals. He also enjoys Southern Oregon to the fullest by hiking, walking, and fishing.

Dawn Hartley joins Oregon Pacific Bank as Vice President and Relationship Banking Officer. From Central Point, Oregon, Dawn was most recently the branch manager at Umpqua Bank. She excels at developing business relationships and has extensive experience with small business lending.

“I am so excited to be part of Oregon Pacific Bank’s expanding Medford team,” Dawn says. “I value being part of a community bank and the local benefit that brings to our clients.”

One of Dawn’s passions is evident in community outreach and volunteer work. Dawn has helped the Medford area thrive as United Way Loan Executive from 2000 to 2001. She has served as a board member for Heart of Medford and the American Red Cross of Jackson County. From 2002 to 2019, Dawn was on the Finance Committee for the Providence Community Health Foundation, and she served as Board Chair of Community Works from 2018 to 2019.

“We are all thrilled to welcome Tom Skinner and Dawn Hartley to our team,” says Ron Green, President and CEO of Oregon Pacific Bank. “They are both well respected and valued members of the Medford community, and I know they will serve our clients exceptionally well. We couldn’t ask for a better pair of individuals to help lead our Medford office forward into an exciting future.”

Oregon Pacific Bank currently operates in Medford as a Trust Office, with limited commercial loan production capabilities. The Bank has applied to the Federal Reserve Board for permission to establish a branch at 3250 Hillcrest Park Drive, Suite 100 in Medford.

With the expected opening of a full-service Medford branch in early 2020, Oregon Pacific Bank is primed to continue the mission of providing high quality, relationship based financial services to our local professionals, business owners, and nonprofit organizations throughout the Jackson County area.
