Oregon Pacific Bank is Committed to Growth in Eugene Market
FLORENCE, OR – Oregon Pacific Bank took a large step towards growth within the Eugene and Springfield markets today, announcing the hire of eight new employees to add to the Bank’s Eugene office. In addition to the new hires, Oregon Pacific Bank has voiced intent to acquire a branch of its own in downtown Eugene. Currently, the Bank operates out of a professional suite in the Eugene Citizen’s Building.
“We have been operating in the Eugene market since 2015,” says Ron Green, President & CEO of Oregon Pacific Bank. “We have developed something very special out of our professional banking office over the past three years, but the timing is right for us to take the next step and grow into a ground-level building of our own. In November 2017, Oregon Pacific Bank raised $13.84 million in new capital with the intent to continue to build on our success and make significant investments in the communities we serve. The strengthening of our Eugene team fits perfectly into that mission, and we are excited to seize the opportunity to enhance our presence within the Eugene community.”
Although no definitive plan for the new building has been decided, Oregon Pacific Bank is actively pursuing a new location with the intent to open the new branch before the end of the year.
“We are excited for what the future holds,” says Ron. “Our new hires come to us with an enormous amount of local experience, client-centric hearts, and a strong “team-first” mentality. They will be a great compliment to our current Eugene team of professional bankers; a team led by Jeff Gusinow, whose leadership and personality has been the reason for our Eugene growth over the past three years and who has consistently shown our clients what it means to partner with a community bank. I am very excited about the opportunities our growth will create for our clients, our employees, our communities, and our shareholders. I know we can truly make a difference in the lives of those around us.”
The new employees hired are: John Raleigh, EVP/Chief Lending Officer, Vicki Gray, SVP/Relationship Banking Team Leader, Joe Carmichael, VP/Commercial Relationship Manager, Troy Reichenberger, VP/ Commercial Relationship Manager, Dave Williams, VP/Commercial Relationship Manager, Kristin Short, VP/Relationship Banking Officer, Joshua Samples, AVP, Portfolio Manager, and Andrea Dolby, Relationship Banking Assistant.
These new hires will be joining Oregon Pacific Bank’s experienced banking team in Eugene: Amber White, EVP/Chief Financial Officer, Jeff Gusinow, SVP/Professional Banking Team Leader, Kate Salyers, SVP/Credit Administrator, Linda Arnold, VP/Trust Officer, Jeanette Beard, AVP/Operations Supervisor, Adam Stevens, Sr. Credit Analyst & Assistant Relationship Manager, Jodie Vergara, Professional Banking Specialist and Devon Staton, Credit Analyst and Commercial Loan Assistant.
