Florence Motorsports: Ed and Deb Costa

When Ed and Deb Costa made a major life decision to relocate from California to the Oregon Coast and buy Florence Motorsports, they needed a new place to bank. The Oregon Dunes and its endless recreational opportunities was beckoning, and we were happy to help them with their banking needs.

Ed and Deb learned of the opportunity to buy the business when they were visiting Florence on one of their own trips to the dunes. They went back to California but couldn’t stop wondering what it would be like to do what they love every day. After some serious contemplation, they sold their trucking company, relocated their family and headed to Oregon.

With a business to run and being new to the Florence-area, the Costas knew it was important to choose the right bank. So, when another local business owner suggested Oregon Pacific Bank, they paid us a visit. Fast forward to today—the Costas love where they live and are operating a successful local company without having to worry about their banking needs.

Ed and Deb provide exceptional service for their customers, constantly striving to ensure that people have fun when they visit the Oregon Coast. They expect the same great one-on-one customer service from their bank—the Costas rely on us for their business checking, line of credit loans, mortgage loans, merchant services and personal checking and savings.

One of the things they appreciate most is that they are able to speak with a real person when they do their banking, Ed says. “They make all their own in-house decisions and you’re not having to call another location or get transferred around or go through automated services,” he says. “They are a one-stop shop for all your financial needs.”

Similarly, the Costas provide everything their customers need to make their vacations great, like servicing and selling motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, as well as apparel and accessories and aftermarket and performance products.

Our bank employees often stop by their store just to check out what’s new, see how business is going, and to find out whether we’re meeting all their needs.

“We love the small-town feel of the bank, as compared to the corporate banking world where no one knows who you are,” Deb says. “We walk into the bank, and they all know who we are, and all are eager to go the extra mile to give us the best customer service.”

At Oregon Pacific Bank, we are honored to help Ed and Deb with their banking needs, so they can focus on what they love—running their family-operated business and having fun in the process.
