It has come to our attention that some businesses who received PPP loans may have received notifications in the mail from a company not affiliated with their bank. The letters are related to the Employee Retention Credit (ERC) program.
Oregon Pacific Bank does not share or sell client information with outside or unaffiliated organizations. It is likely that this information was obtained from the SBA’s public list of businesses that received PPP funding nationwide. It is important to note that the company sending the letters is not affiliated with the PPP lender and cannot be vouched for regarding the legitimacy of their services.
The ERC program is a legitimate program that provides a refundable tax credit for employers who have experienced a significant decline in gross receipts due to COVID-19. To determine if you are eligible for benefits, we encourage you to visit the SBA website for more information on the ERC program.
