Oregon Pacific Bank Celebrates Community Bank Week in Oregon

Oregon Pacific Bank is joining other financial institutions throughout Oregon to celebrate Community Bank Week in Oregon, taking place October 16-20, 2023!

Community Bank Week is a celebration of the essential role Oregon’s community banks play in bolstering local economies. Community Bank Week was founded in 2014 by the Community Banks of Oregon. For over a century, Oregon’s community banks have provided the vital financial services and support our communities need to thrive and grow.

Oregon Pacific Bank is commemorating Community Bank Week in Oregon with a week-long demonstration of community pride for local residents and small businesses that the bank serves, like spotlighting our small business partners, such as Bower’s Trucking: Small Business Spotlight – Oregon Bankers Association

Throughout the week, OPB’s Coos Bay, Eugene, Florence, Medford, Portland, and Roseburg branches will be hosting various client appreciation events. Clients and community members alike are invited to visit their local banking branch to join in the celebration and learn more about community banking.

Community banks, particularly through their support of small businesses and nonprofit organizations, play a significant role in local economic development efforts, stimulating the economy to create jobs and new opportunities. Community banks are an integral part of Oregon’s overall economy, contributing through their community giving, dedication as good neighbors, and above all, their critical role in providing dependable financial services to Oregonians.
